Exchange is like a Long Distance Relationship
Exchange is like a long distance relationship.
You stumble across them,
and its love at first sight.
You cant touch or hold,
but you can stand from afar
and look at pictures.
You can pin them on your wall,
a flag and a coat of arms! and find that
wikipedia does nothing except
fuel your obsession.
You plan a way to go and see
for yourself. You have a countdown
until you meet your love.
A love like none other
is your lusting for this.
Wonderous and exciting,
as you walk into unknown territory.
The first time you meet you
are stunned and overcome with
shock. And as time goes on...
...you discover the real love that you share.

hi amy, i'm jane from CS (angelfightrJ over there). anyway, i really like your poem because i think almost every kid that wants to go abroad feels this way...and i was thinking about this yesterday when someone said that being away from home for a year and coming back helped that person have a better relationship with their parents....and that sometimes you need some space to become closer and have less fights.
i read random articles and there's always a bunch about love tips when i go on windows live messenger and i read them out of interest (even though i don't have a love life HAHHAA) and they always say that you have to be your individual self and that you shouldn't spend time with your significant other 24/7 ....because if you don't, it helps keep the relationship healthy and fresh ^^. ....so yeah i somehow thought of that while reading that person's thing.
anyway, nice to meet you! i hope you go to hungary! (i'm guessing that's your first choice?)
